What book have you read lately?

I am reading two books : Into the Wild written in English, Bad Samaritans written in Korea.

Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer is a non-fiction book about the adventures of Christopher McCandless. In April 1992 a young man from a well-to-do family hitchhiked to Alaska and walked alone into the wilderness north of Mt. McKinley. His name was Christopher Johnson McCandless. He had given $25,000 in savings to charity, abandoned his car and most of his possessions, burned all the cash in his wallet, and invented a new life for himself. Four months later, his decomposed body was found by a moose hunter. How McCandless came to die is the unforgettable story of "Into the Wild.

Bad Samaritans by Jang Hajoon is a book about the myth of free trade and the secret histoy of capitalism.

I am wondering what book you are reading now ???

Hi, Mcluhan.
Sorry I am not reading now, but I am going to read Kite Runner, which was a gift from my coworker. He told me to finish the book before I get back to school. A kind of homework? I plan to start from May.

A friend recommended me an inspiring book that teaches me a secret in the universe. The tile? Of course "THE SECRET" by Rhonda Byrne. I started two month ago, but I didn't finish half. I just read a few lines or a few pages everyday.
The point that the write tells us is this; You become what think most. But also you attract what you think most.

Wow, that's why you have so much background knowledge. Reading nonfiction... I like reading easy romatic novels. I have just been through with a novel "Girl with a pearl earring". It's a story about a girl who became a maid because of the family economy and a model for her master(painter). It was good.

Hi Mac,
Did you see the movie "Golden Compass" with Nicole Kidman, last year. It was based on a great book "The Northern Lights" from the series called His Dark Materials. It is about magic and has some similarities to the Harry Potter series in that it was written for a younger audience but also entertains adults. I'm reading it right now

Hi! Macluhan!!
Since I came here, I couldn't finish reading even 1 book. I'm really ashamed og myself. Mine is "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time" It is the story about the death of a dog.
